BAFAB Week Competition

It is Buy a Friend a Book week time again. I am giving away a collection of short stories by Margaret Atwood: Dancing Girls. It is a 1980s paperback with the rather jolly Sally Geeve designed cover.

To enter the draw for Dancing Girls just leave a comment below but not anonymously please else it it is a bit difficult to do the draw! You have until the end of Wednesday 8th October UK time to enter.

Good luck!

I would love to be entered in this drawing! I've never read any of Margaret Atwood's writing, and I think it would be fun to give it a try.

I hadn't heard of this collection of hers. Atwood is hit or miss with me. I've really enjoyed some, others not so much, but I'm always game to try more. Thinking about it, I don't think I've read any of her short stories though, just a few of her novels. So I'd love to have my name in the hat. Thanks.

Please enter me for the draw! I've previously read Atwood's 'The Blind Assassin,' which from memory, I really enjoyed. 'The Penelopiad' was also an interesting re-interpretation of Greek myth.

Please include me in the draw - it will encourage me to start reading Margaret Atwood - short stories being a bit easier to satrt with!

I love short stories! Recently I've been thumbing through Bailey White's _Mama Makes Up Her Mind: And Other Dangers Of Southern Living_ - can't get enough, love to laugh. The last one I read was "Bicyclists" - they're all Very Funny and I prefer to read them while 'hearing' her particular voice in the back of my mind. She's not on npr as much as in the past and I miss that.
